Automation Technical Lead will lead the technical design of systems
and software to create and maintain automation solutions with a focus
on the technology and quality control of the robots. The solutions
will include maintaining robotic process automations (RPA) and
supporting the Control Room and technical environments. This includes
defining, designing, developing, implementing, and supporting all
technical infrastructure for automation solutions including but not
limited to robotic process automation tools.
The purpose of this position within the GBS Automation COE is to
develop and deliver robotic automation for the finance global business
solutions teams. The GBS Automation COE is responsible for providing
automation solutions through the use of robotics process automation
and other automation solutions.
Responsibilities / Duties
* Responsible for ensuring that the design, development, testing, and
implementation of RPA bot**Apply on the website**;s meets all
requirements prior to go live
* Partner with Automation analyze team to review automation
opportunities by analyzing processes and assessing feasibility for
automation
* Create solution design document as part of automation development
process
* Create and document test procedures and scenarios prior to launching
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
* Develop process automation using automation software in accordance
with automation team standards and best practices.
* Conduct sprint validations with automation team and business during
the development of the project
* Support business teams in testing activities, including integration
testing, end-to-end (business process) testing and UAT
* Ensure appropriate integrations between all RPA bots and required
system applications
* Develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom
technology solutions, and support system implementation
* Provide on-going operational support including upgrades, defect
fixes and any Process change activities
* Assists developers in the development process, including
constructing and maintaining efficient, reusable and reliable code
with robotic process automation software and tools
* Assists developers with testing activities, including integration
testing, end-to-end (business process) testing and user acceptance
testing
* Assists developers with problem identification/error resolution
process, including tracking, repairing and reporting defects
* Fine tune performance and operation issues that arise with RPA Bots
* Creates, edits, revises and finalizes life cycle deliverables such
as requirements specifications, solution design documents, and
operating instructions (i.e. SOP)
* Creates and maintains process, technical, project or other
documentation, as may be required, to support development, project
management and training
* Performs code review of service provider automations and provides
constructive feedback to ensure quality of code
Experience Required
* Bachelor Degree in Business or Management Information Systems or
Computer Science

process automation software, preferably AA.
* 5 -7 years of programmer experience with supply
chain/finance/administrative business processes, systems and
applications of varying scope and complexity
* 3+ Years of hands-on development experience in RPA, developing
macros, automation tools, and advanced excel
* Experience with systems development life cycle and structured
programming methods (both traditional and agile), including
requirements definition, solution design, program development,
testing, documentation, training, deployment, operations, support and
maintenance
* Track record of working on projects to success within established
timelines and budgets
* Exposure to performance measurement, continuous improvement (Lean /
Six-Sigma)
* Experience in programming (Python, R, Java, Powershell, VB / VBA and
PL/SQL)
